Centenary Correíllo La Palma

This year our Correíllo "La Palma" celebrates its first Centennial Anniversary and to celebrate, we are organizing a series of events that will unfold throughout 2012.

First of all, we can talk about the memorial will be held on April 12 (when it was launched 100 years ago the "LA PALMA" in the shipyards W.Harkess & Son Ltd, located in the English city of Middlesbrough). This Centennial act not only pays tribute to the only surviving passenger ship of its time, but to all persons and entities that have made its 100 year history. It also opened the rigging funded by Caixa Catalunya Social Work. At night we will dress up to celebrate together at the Hotel Mencey the centenary of the iconic ship.

Also on the next day, April 20, the "First Conference on Sea and Land Heritage in Canaries" with lunch at the Real Club Nautico de Tenerife.

Currently, we are putting the final steps to finish a number of other acts, of which we will inform you on this website and in different media.
